Morning Mart

Most nights it's closed when it's supposed to be open, for example, tonight it is supposed to be open until 10pm, the sign states that it is open until 11pm. It was 9:10pm. It was and is closed. I called the variety store 5 or 6 times and there was no answer. The service is very mediocre and often the clerks are very hard to understand and they try to overcharge the customers all the time. If you confront them they pass it off as they misunderstood and corrected the issue only if they were caught. For example I was purchasing a can of pop. It costs a dollar plus tax. It should come to $1.13. Usually a charge of $1.25 goes by uncontested. This time the woman says "that will be one dollar and eighty-seven please. Without batting an eye I very politely ask her to please call the police. She asks why. I responded that there was a Robbery occurring. She looked right at me looking scared and asked me if I was going to rob her. The incredibly stupid look on her face was so very priceless and extremely satisfying to me that I almost forgot to reply "no my dear, actually you are trying to rob me, and I would like you to call the police. She actually really started to dial the police. I had to stop her and explained to her why I claimed that she was trying to rob me by trying to charge me 1× 1.87 for a beverage that should only cost 1.13. I ended stating that for real I could call the police and she would be breaking the law and would go to jail. I left with a free pop.
